"Requited," the short film I shot on the RED One Camera in February for director Jonathan Talbert (look him up on IMDb), has just been posted online as an official entry in the Doorpost Film Project!
Please go online to view the film and to vote on it. There are only 100 entries in competition, and if we are one of the top 10 finalists we will receive a big grant to make another film this summer. Good odds, I'd say, but not without your help!
Since the website can be cumbersome, below are the easy steps to voting for the film. Keep in mind the last step; none of the films are over 7 minutes long, and given that they actually went through a selection process, you won't have any YouTube misfits here. These are quality.
PLEASE take a bit of time out of your day and do this! And forward this on to everyone you know!
Eight Easy Steps to Voting for Requited in the Doorpost Film Project:
STEP 1: Visit www.thedoorpost.com/forgiveness/requited
STEP 2: Click “Sign Up” in the upper right hand corner
STEP 3: Create Screen Name & Profile – You do not need to upload a photo.
STEP 4: Re‐enter link above into browser to go straight to Requited
Or
Click “Films”, then “09 Contest Films”, then search for Requited
STEP 5: Click blue “Vote Now” button in lower left hand corner
Requited will be loaded into your voting queue
STEP 6: View the film in its entirety
STEP 7: Scroll down to vote on Acting, Editing, Cinematography, etc.
Submit your votes by clicking new “Vote Now” button at bottom
STEP 8: View and vote on remaining 4 films in queue
None of your votes will be counted until all 5 films are voted o
